Balfour Beatty has an exciting new opportunity for a Programme Co-ordinator to join our Technical Training Team based out of Scotland
Role purpose:
To support the delivery of Power training and competence provision, the role will focus on providing day-to-day support in the delivery of a training plan and competence requirements across Power. Specifically providing the team with the relevant Management Information (MI) and programme development
What you'll be doing
Key Accountabilities:
1. To support the Programme Lead - in the Day to Day tasks to support the training function within area of responsibility
2. To support the Operational areas in all aspects of their training MI
3. Support and drive a compliant and professional service in line with the Company and Power strategy.
4. Advise operations of any change in training MI to ensure managers are aware of training needs
5. Monitor and assist with Budgets
Key Responsibilities:
6. Work with the Programme Lead - to set the direction for the training programmes and MI in line with business goals and customer service values.
7. Support the Training teams to deliver high quality services - Training MI data as required
8. Ensure legal compliance for the business within a framework of business improvement and a satisfying working environment.
9. Work with and advise areas of spend vs. Budget
10. To facilitate and maintain effective communication links with the Operation and training teams
11. Promote Power Training delivery and services that we can offer
12. To promote a professional image at all time in support of the companies and department values
13. To ensure that you develop your capabilities through continuing professional development
14. To carryout any additional responsibilities from time to time in line with business needs
Who we're looking for
Skills Required:
15. R12 capability
16. Administration qualification or suitable experience
17. Expert in use of MS Office Excel, Word, Outlook
18. Training Evaluation methods and systems
Advantage but not Essential
19. Understanding of CITB funding
20. A good working knowledge and an understanding of current training award bodies
