The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and motivated specialist occupational therapist to join our friendly and supportive Integrated rehabilitation Team. You will work closely with physiotherapists, community occupational therapists, nurses, social workers and social care colleagues to deliver high quality person centred rehabilitation in the community and off site bed facility. We offer supportive induction and ongoing professional development, with regular clinical supervision and access to a strong peer support network. What we'll need you to bring
1. Registered Occupational Therapist with valid HCPC Registration
2. Educated to/working towards/operating at Degree Level
3. Post graduate expertise within speciality / area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality / area of practice.
5. Specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies and procedures associated with the speciality/area of practice ensuring that the level of expertise can be utilised to deliver leadership within speciality / area of practice.
6. Leadership skills to enable the day to day management of service delivery.
7. Further education/evidence of Continuous Professional Development in area of speciality including study days/courses/post graduate qualification
8. The post holder will possess excellent team-working/leadership skills and have the ability to motivate others and work using own initiative
9. Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Effective time management skills
11. Working knowledge of basic information technology
12. Car driver with a full UK/EU/EEA valid driving licence
Please note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
It would be great if you also have
13. Practice education training and experience within the specific care group/speciality
14. Evidence of audit, critical appraisal, reflective practice and/or research skills
15. Sound knowledge of multi-disciplinary and inter agency team working practices

Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.
Location and Working Pattern
This role will be based in Airdrie Rehabilitation Team within Airdrie Community Health Clinic
The working pattern for this role will be confirmed by the hiring manager.
