Life at Campbells Vets
We are looking for a passionate and driven Senior Veterinary Nurse to join our team and work 33 hours across 4 days. Shifts will be between 8:30am-6:30pm. This role suits someone who is interested in veterinary medicine and nursing consults, but who also has confidence in monitoring anaesthesia and assisting in operations.
Campbells Vets is a thriving small animal practice with a strong reputation for delivering high‑quality, compassionate care within the suburbs of Swansea. With easy access to Swansea and Cardiff, and close to beautiful countryside such as the Gower Peninsula, the team prides itself on a positive, open culture where every voice is heard and nurses are fully utilised in their roles.
Our facilities include digital x‑ray, microscope, and ultrasound, giving you the tools you need to deliver outstanding care.
Responsibilities
* Conduct regular check‑ins and 1‑2‑1s with the nursing support team
* Lead the nursing team and deliver training and mentorship for new and junior team members
* Complete clinical audit checks
* Run nursing clinics and provide inpatient care
* Manage pharmacy stock
You will manage the Campbells branch on a day‑to‑day basis, with dedicated support and guidance from the Swansea hub Head RVN as you settle into the role.

The role offers a high level of autonomy and would suit someone who is self‑motivated, confident in using their initiative, and committed to driving continuous improvement in quality and clinical standards.
