Temporary Project and Procurement Co‑ordinator
We welcome applications for this support post to commence as soon as possible for a period of 15 months to cover a maternity leave. The successful candidate will receive an additional payment of 10% of their actual annual salary on successful completion of the fixed‑term contract.
The Role
To provide high‑quality administrative and coordination support to the Procurement and Projects function, ensuring the effective organisation of project activity and procurement processes.
This is a hands‑on support role requiring a proactive and organised individual who can work both independently and as part of a team, supporting the delivery of projects and procurement activity across the College.
Responsibilities
* Providing comprehensive administrative support to the projects and procurement team.
* Maintaining accurate project and procurement records, trackers and documentation to ensure audit readiness.
* Arranging meetings, preparing agendas, taking accurate minutes and tracking actions to completion.
* Producing high‑quality reports, spreadsheets and documentation using Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
Relevant experience in an administrative support role in a busy environment, experience organising meetings and taking minutes, and strong Microsoft Office skills.
Demonstrated values, attitudes, and behaviours consistent with the Catholic Ethos of the College and a commitment to equality/diversity and the safeguarding of young people and vulnerable adults.
Terms and Conditions
Hours: 37 hours per week, full year. Starting and finishing times as agreed.
Salary: The post will be paid on the Sixth Form Colleges’ Support Staff Pay Spine at points 11‑14 – pro‑rata to £28,634 to £31,324 per annum. The successful candidate will receive an additional payment of 10% of their actual annual salary on successful completion of the fixed‑term contract.
