This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Plant Fitter from the asphalt, concrete, or cement industry who is seeking a rewarding and secure role with ongoing professional development. Key Duties Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance on asphalt plant machinery including mixers, conveyors, screens, and burners. Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and carry out mechanical repairs to minimise downtime. Conduct regular inspections to ensure all equipment is safe, clean, and compliant with health and safety standards. Use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical issues and implement effective solutions. Complete maintenance records, defect tracker sheets, and sign-off documentation. Carry out basic fabrication and welding tasks as needed for repair and maintenance. Support site operations including loading, unloading, and general maintenance assistance.
