We Care Bespoke is committed to providing meaningful, person-centred support to young people with a wide range of needs. We're currently seeking passionate, reliable, and compassionate Outreach Support Workers to join our growing team across the North-East.
About the Role:
As an Outreach Support Worker, you'll work directly with children and young people in the community, providing support either 1:1, 2:1 or in a small group. Sessions typically take place after school, at weekends, or during school holidays. We are looking for staff who can commit to working with at least 1 young person every week so they can build lasting relationships with them and their families.
Responsibilities include:
* Supporting young people in a variety of community-based activities
* Assisting in the planning and delivery of fun, engaging, and inclusive sessions
* Encouraging independence and building confidence
* Managing and responding to challenging behaviours in a calm and professional manner
* Providing personal care where needed
* Keeping accurate records and communicating effectively with the team
What we’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children or young people with additional needs
* Confidence in managing challenging behaviour
* A positive, proactive, and empathetic approach
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and school holidays
* A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with Business Insurance is desirable but not essential
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
