COME AND JOIN US. .. We are currently seeking a resourceful, flexible and highly motivated Technical Services Assistant to join our Technical Services Team. The shift pattern for this role is 8am to 4.30pm Mon-Wed and 8am to 4pm Thurs-Fri, working 5 days from 7 with one weekend per month. The on target earning potential for this role is £32,053 / per annum based on a 39 hour contract - comprising a base salary of £27,053, plus a qualified estimate of £5,000 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards. Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role: A key member of the team, you’ll carry out a range of maintenance, repair and installation works and minor projects Responding quickly to priority tasks, undertaking fault diagnosis and repair ensuring your work is completed swiftly and to the highest standard; always aiming for a first-time fix Ensuring that all work complies with the relevant risk assessments, safety legislation, policies and procedures, and all applicable regulations/bylaws, Approved Code of Practices and good practice guidelines Completing all relevant documentation such as risk assessments, time sheets accurately, recommending any changes to risk assessments within the specific field of knowledge Making sure that our workshops and work areas are free from hazards at all times; proactively identifying and reporting any potential systems within the trades sphere of expertise which would benefit from upgrading Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way The kind of person we're looking for: Ideally, you already have a great knowledge of general maintenance, repair and property; you’re keen to learn more and develop your skills Enthusiastic, confident and warm; you like working in an environment where things move and flex; you now how to manage a range of priorities You’re supremely reliable and always ensure every job is completed to the highest of standard Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way What’s in it for you: Time to let your hair down 30 days holiday (including bank holidays) that increases with service Seasonal parties and local social events 50% discount on Food & Beverage, Country Pursuits, Spa and Hair Salon (Mon-Thurs) and the Golf Driving Range Golf Membership (with access to all 3 championship courses) for £50.00 per annum Treats in your pocket Flexi points into your Perkbox wallet to spend as you choose.
