Job Title: Manager, Manufacturing Engineer • Job Code: 28577 • Job Location: USA-NH-Londonderry-Akira Way • Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked - and have every other Friday off

The L3Harris Integrated Vision Solutions (IVS) sector Manufacturing Engineering team is responsible for providing operations with the vision, technology, and expertise required for a successful production process. As a leader, the Manufacturing Engineering Manager will co-ordinate work and technically consult with manufacturing engineers that support cross-functional teams across multiple program lines. The manager will implement and oversee maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures and ensure operational efficiency. The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will manage the team and lead projects related to focusing on proactive strategies like inspections, scheduled servicing, and data analysis to minimize downtime and reduce costs at L3Harris.
Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Sr Manager of Manufacturing Engineering, this position is responsible for the leadership, direction, and performance of maintenance activities within a team of preventative maintenance engineers and technicians
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, and production, to establish a proactive maintenance culture to improve productivity and minimize downtime
* Planning and executing maintenance activities.
* Assisting in troubleshooting technical issues
* Coordinating external suppliers or contractors to provide specialized maintenance to equipment
* Monitor key performance indicators within the team such as equipment down time, preventative to corrective maintenance ratios, mean time to repair (MTTR), mean time between failures (MTBF)
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 9 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

* Experience leading and motivating a team to meet departmental goals
* Experience leading the deployment of preventative maintenance teams and strategies
* Demonstrated track record working in cross-functional teams and influencing organizational change
* Demonstrated experience in problem solving and decision making to solve problems efficiently and drive innovation
* Effective communication skills to help build a strong team, foster trust and collaboration between the team and other departments within the business
