Buryfields Infants After School Club Childcare Assistant (Mon - Thurs) – Odiham, Hook (RG29)

We are recruiting for an After School Club Childcare Playwork Assistant at our club at Buryfields Infant School in Odiham, Hook (RG29).
Responsibilities
* Actively and enthusiastically assist the After School Club Manager in the safe and organised running of the After School Club at Buryfields Infant School in Odiham, Hook (RG29).
* Help set up, organise and deliver a range of activities daily and pro-actively encourage children to participate.
* Assist in the preparation, serving and tidying away of snack time.
* Have awareness of, and maintain sensitivity for, any children with additional needs (physical, behavioural, dietary).
* Develop strong relationships with all children at the After School Club to ensure every child has as much fun as possible.
* Understand relevant Ofsted standards and KOOSA Kids policies and procedures, including safeguarding.
* Ensure activity areas are left clean and tidy at the end of each day.
Skills & Experience
* Passion or interest in working in a childcare, early years or playwork setting.
* Fun and energetic nature with reliability and good communication with colleagues and children.
* Ability to relate to and engage with children aged 4 – 11 years.
* Opportunities to gain qualifications and further development; full training and inductions provided.
Hours
Monday – Thursday, 2.55pm – 6.00pm, term-time only.
