Job Description
We’re looking for an Information Security Officer to join our Security team.
Reporting to the Senior Information Security Manager, you’ll work on security aspects of project delivery across AXA Insurance, including but not limited to design, delivery, and building processes to ensure controls remain in place. You’ll collaborate with IT teams across AXA to achieve secure solutions by assessing risks and developing pragmatic mitigation strategies within AXA UK’s risk appetite.

What you’ll be doing:
* Liaising with the UK CTO and other groups to manage security aspects of strategic projects, working within project teams to meet deadlines and budgets.
* Delivering UK Security projects to enhance controls and address new risks.
* Building measurable secure solutions, focusing on coverage, quantity, and quality metrics, ensuring they are supportable and maintainable in Business As Usual operations.
* Assisting UK Security with risk assessments of Group and third-party tools and platforms.
* Ensuring compliance with AXA Security Policies and that new technology builds positively impact controls and risk posture.
* Providing technical consultancy on third-party risks for specific solutions.
* Proactively investigating emerging threats and proposing appropriate solutions.
What you’ll bring:
* Strong understanding of issues affecting the IT environment and key information requirements.
* Ability to manage demanding workloads with tight deadlines.
* Project management skills.
* Knowledge or experience in areas such as ITIL, Cloud Security, Coding and Scripting, Application Security, Big Data, Architecture, and Networking is desirable.
* Strong customer focus.
* Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Relevant professional qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, or MIISP are desirable.
