Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial settings. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for both staff and visitors.
The position is Temporary covering long term sickness working in a small school environment.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 5.45 am am
A Enhanced DBS certificate is required for starting this position, which we can help obtain, have a Enhanced DBS on the update system would be an advantage as immediate start is required
Duties
* Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
* Clean and sanitise toilet areas, classrooms and communal areas to ensure high standards of hygiene.
* Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
* Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs.
* Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
* Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team to meet cleaning schedules.
Experience
* Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and techniques is beneficial.
* A strong attention to detail and the ability to work methodically are essential traits for success in this role.
