WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
To become a Catering Supervisor in our Catering department, we need someone who is experienced, patient and has the ability to work well in a team.
The successful candidate will have the chance to acquire new skills and develop their abilities in a wide range of activities.

Although this position is based at our Worcester campus, all applicants must be prepared to travel to our other campuses or surrounding areas as required.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
To find a more detailed list of your day-to-day responsibilities, please refer to the key roles and accountabilities section on our Job Description. You will support in many aspects, to name a few:
1. Maintain agreed standards for all café services.
2. Supervise staff in serving food, beverages, and confectionery.
3. Ensure food safety, hygiene, and compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, Food Hygiene, Consumer and Equality laws, including allergen control.
4. Oversee daily temperature checks and maintain the Safe Food Better Business diary.
5. Deliver and uphold barista coffee brand standards.
6. Work with the Catering Manager and Chef to ensure high‑quality food production, correct portioning, recipe compliance, and supplier use.
7. Support the Chef in ensuring food is stored and sold safely.
8. Manage stock levels, place orders, oversee deliveries, and report shortages or quality issues.
9. Handle cash, meal cards, banking, and daily sales reporting; update tills and report issues.
10. Supervise cleaning of kitchen, counters, tables, and restaurant areas; ensure adherence to cleaning rotas.
11. Coordinate washing and storage of equipment, crockery, and cutlery.
12. Manage food and drink provision for buffets.
