Salary: £37,500 to £41,200 DOE plus £5,500 car allowance

Responsibilities
As an Engineer Surveyor there is no fixed place of work. You will attend the premises of the company's clients to perform duties, and will.
* Plan and manage work activities effectively with accurate time recording
* Be familiar with Health and Safety Regulations and company policies applicable to the area of responsibility
* Be responsible for your safety and that of others, using appropriate PPE and health and safety procedures
* Engage with restricted competencies and supervision levels within the management plan
* Ensure all plant on the Contract Schedule for the allocated service area is examined/inspected per accepted codes of practice and standards with timely reports
* Apply safe systems of work and risk assessments/method statements; notify Regional Engineering Manager if not appropriate
* Provide, build, and maintain excellent client relationships and meet customer service standards
* Keep aware of developments in standards and legislation affecting the discipline and support change as required
* Maintain CPD to sustain professional competencies
* Provide advice on customer assets to derive further value from inspections
Skills & Experience
* 3 years of experience in general engineering environments
* Knowledge of statutory regulations such as LOLER, PSSR, PUWER and relevant British Standards is desirable
* Ability to follow statutory requirements and company policies and procedures
* Ability to communicate at all levels
* Experience understanding client needs and building/maintaining strong professional relationships
* Ability to work within a supervised environment and report to Technical Trainers, Principal Engineers or Line Managers
* Good IT skills (Microsoft packages and iPad)
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 minimum in an engineering-based discipline or an equivalent recognised qualification
* Or a recognised relevant apprenticeship in lieu of an academic qualification
