Teaching Assistant - Barking & Dagenham / The ideal candidate:
A recent graduate (Education, Psychology, or related field) or someone passionate about working in education
Experience supporting young people with SEN, or an interest in learning how to do so
Patient, adaptable, and confident working 1:1 or with small groups
Excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to help students reach their potential
Strong understanding of safeguarding and commitment to pupil wellbeing
Training in PECS, Makaton, Signalong, Team Teach or other SEN-related approaches is beneficial (but not essential)
