The Role: The successful candidate whilst working under the supervision of a qualified teacher must be able to work independently and be capable of working with small groups of children to be able to support their development. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and the ability to form and maintain positive suitable relationships with children.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the delivery of the EYFS curriculum through engaging and imaginative activities.
* Promoting a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
* Assisting with observations and assessments in line with the EYFS framework
* Encourage children’s personal, social, and emotional growth through consistent routines and positive reinforcement
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
The ideal candidate:
* Level 3 qualification in a relevant area (e.g., CACHE Diploma in Early Years Education or equivalent).
* Previous experience working in an EYFS setting such as nursery, preschool, or Reception.
* Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early child development.
* Positive, calm, and nurturing attitude.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills.
* An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
