Kickstart your Engineering career with the Process Engineering Graduate Programme. Join to apply for the Process Engineering Graduate role at AIMCH based at Aberthaw Cement Plant in Wales. This is a 3-year graduate scheme within the UK and Ireland Cement, Lime and Packed division, designed to develop you to deliver business impact, with opportunities to work on real projects, learn on site, and grow your career as you help shape a more sustainable future.
Note: This role involves the potential to gain experience across multiple plants in the UK and Ireland, including international assignments in the future.
What you'll be doing
* Gain a detailed understanding of cement engineering, manufacturing, and production through a dedicated development programme and the CRH international technical programme
* Get hands-on experience on site, contribute to continuous plant performance, and address production and process bottlenecks to improve output, stability and environmental aspects
* Initially based on one plant, with the potential to gain experience on other plants across the UK and Ireland cluster or participate in an international assignment
* Assist in tracking key process parameters and analyse data to optimise plant performance, making recommendations for modifications
* Learn and apply safety policies, procedures and practices; actively lead and drive safety standards and improvements
* Contribute to root cause analysis to understand costs and business impacts from plant outages
* Support important projects to improve ways of working and deliver added value
* Take pride in work completed and stay determined to succeed

* Degree in Chemical Engineering
* Driving licence and ability to travel
* Willing to work in different locations across the UK and Ireland (and future international assignments)
