About the Job
Working in our beautifully themed cafe, you will be part of a small and vibrant team - providing a warm welcome to customers, as well as preparing and serving drinks, snacks and light meals Our flagship Keswick store with café, shop and lifestyle spaces is dedicated to children's learning and development through play.
Roles and responsibilities will include:
* Providing a warm welcome and a high standard of customer service
* Taking orders, preparing and serving hot and cold snacks and drinks
* Organising and maintaining an attractive display counter and stock replenishment
* Maintaining a high level of cleanliness at all times, including clearing down of tables, workstations, and all open spaces.
* Processing payments, cash handling and cashing up.
Person Specification
You will be friendly, welcoming and willing to engage with all customers including children. You should have a natural flair for outstanding customer service and excellent communication skills. It is important that you can contribute enthusiastically to the successful performance of a small team.
Previous experience would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.
Contract: Permanent, part-time
Hours: 16.5 hours per week (3 days) on a flexible basis – rota to include weekends & public holidays.
Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour
