Job Overview and Responsibilities
The post combines front of house roles, such as meeting and greeting and client registration, support tasks, such as stock organisation and clinic set up and close down, and back of house clinical support including assisting with clinical procedures and acting as a chaperone. Clinical tasks and delivery of health promotion/ information sessions in various clinical and non‑clinical environments.
The post involves the use of the electronic record system, assisting with specimen preparation, set up and cleaning of equipment and checking clinical areas and equipment in line with Health and Safety and infection prevention policies.
The post holder will be supported by both a first line manager and an allocated clinical supervisor to ensure the provision of adequate training for additional development and appropriate delegated clinical intervention.
The post holder will be required to participate in a rota to cover the Saturday sessions as part of the contracted role.
