Compensation:
* Pay Range: $22.90 - $37.25 / hour
* $5,000 new hire sign-on bonus (full-time and weekend shifts only)

UAB Spain Rehabilitation Center is opening an 11-story inpatient rehabilitation hospital in spring 2025, with 78 beds and advanced technology to promote functional recovery. Job Description
Under general supervision, provides nursing care based on the nursing process, hospital standards, and policies. Responsibilities include orienting patients and families, assessing patient data, notifying RNs of issues, evaluating responses to care, documenting, responding to emergencies, demonstrating interpersonal skills, meeting educational needs, and serving as a role model.
Qualifications
* Graduate from an accredited Practical Nursing Program or equivalent (work experience cannot substitute education)
* Licensed or licensed by endorsement as an LPN by the Alabama Board of Nursing
* Certified in BLS from the American Heart Association (AHA) or to be obtained within 30 days
* ACLS and PALS may be required depending on the unit
