Butler Rose is recruiting a Management Accountant for a growing organisation in Plymouth during a period of change and development. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys financial reporting, analysis, and partnering with stakeholders to support business performance.
Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting reports.
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
* Produce variance analysis and performance reporting.
* Prepare month-end journals, accruals, and prepayments.
* Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
* Support cash flow reporting and forecasting.
* Partner with operational teams to provide financial insight.
* Assist with audit preparation and other statutory compliance.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost control.
* Produce various reporting as required by the business.
Qualifications
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or part-qualified / QBE with relevant skills and experience.
* Strong understanding of management accounting principles.
* Advanced Excel skills; BI/reporting tool experience is advantageous.
* Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
* Able to work accurately and effectively to deadlines.
