Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer (Installation & Maintenance) | Mobile role covering commercial sites from Edinburgh to St Andrews | Salary: £45,000 DOE OT paid at 1.5x Responsibilities * Carry out installation, servicing, and PPM on split systems, multi-split systems, and VRV/VRF equipment * Diagnose faults and complete reactive repairs efficiently to minimise downtime * Work on chillers and refrigeration equipment where required * Replace components including compressors, motors, sensors, and control boards * Ensure all work complies with F-Gas regulations, Health & Safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines * Complete job sheets, service reports, and compliance documentation accurately and on time * Maintain clear records of refrigerant usage and parts replacement * Liaise professionally with clients and provide excellent customer service * Support junior engineers and work collaboratively with the wider engineering team Requirements * City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent) * F-Gas Category 1 (2079) certification * Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence * Proven experience within commercial HVAC and refrigeration environments * Experience with chillers, split systems, and VRV/VRF units * Skilled in brazing and metal component repair * Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work independently Benefits * Competitive salary with enhanced overtime rates * Company van and fuel card * iPhone and company-provided equipment * Structured callout rota with flat-rate payment * Stable, full-time position with long-term career prospects
