Role Overview:
As a Buying Manager at the size? Group, you will play a pivotal role in driving the product assortment strategy for our stores and e-com platform.
Responsible for curating and managing the product range, you will ensure the size? Group offers a compelling range of footwear, apparel and accessories that meet the demands of our diverse consumer profiles.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Range & Strategy
Develop and implement the product buying strategy across key categories, ensuring an exciting, trend-driven assortment that aligns with the size? Group's brand values and customer expectations
Team Management
Lead and mentor the team of buyers for the size? Group ensuring collaboration, innovation and creativity within the team to drive results and ultimately elevate the brands presence
Stock Management
Alongside the merchandising team, oversee stock levels to ensure product availability whilst minimising overstock situations and continually monitoring inventory performance to adjust the buying strategies as needed
Trend Forecasting
Stay ahead of market trends, understanding the latest styles, cultural influences and emerging brands. Ensure the product offering reflects the tastes and preferences of our target audiences
Sales Analysis & Performance
Use data to analyse product performance, identify sales opportunities and adjust buying plans to meet business objectives. Drive sales growth through informed decisions on product selection and pricing
Collaboration
Work closely with the size? Group leadership team to ensure all product launches are supported and integrated into campaigns and digital platforms
Consumer Centric Approach
Ensure the product offering reflects the customer demands, delivering the latest and the greatest product alongside incubating new product that continually enhances the consumer experience
Key Requirements
* Passion for product, culture and the unique intersection of lifestyle and retail.
* Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with experience in managing a team and driving alignment across multiple stakeholders.
Skills/Experience/Knowledge Needed:
* Solid business acumen and knowledge of Retail KPIs
* Budget setting and management experience
* Experience in defining and setting strategy
* Ability to understand and analyse data and produce actionable insights
