ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND
You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM, and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those looking for a personalized work schedule.
As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule but will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via our myTime mobile scheduling app.
We require your active engagement by picking up and working shifts, as well as responding to our contact attempts. Failure to respond may result in employment termination. Regular attendance is necessary; you must work at least one shift within 6 months or face termination.
Should you be offered a position, you will need to attend a Target Welcome orientation and complete a short-term training schedule. Afterward, you can use the myTime app to pick shifts.

Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery. Knowledgeable about store capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage, and guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping effortless and seamless for guests at checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up, and drive-up.

Typical Responsibilities
* Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience
* Create a welcoming environment by greeting all guests
* Observe and understand guest needs through body language and verbal cues
* Engage with guests genuinely, asking questions to understand their needs
* Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to resolve issues
* Thank guests sincerely and express happiness they shopped at Target
* Efficiently scan and bag items, maintaining safety standards
* Minimize wait times while maintaining service quality and accuracy
* Inform guests about brand launches, store activities, and events
* Assist guests with Target RedCard applications and other services
* Guide guests on fulfillment services, Wallet, and Target App features
* Handle returns, resolve issues, and de-escalate negative situations
* Deliver seamless service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
* Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area
* Support guest services and ensure compliance with safety and legal standards
* Perform other duties as needed based on business needs

Additional Expectations
Handle cash register operations accurately, lift merchandise up to 40 pounds, and maintain a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Active engagement in shift work via the myTime app is required, with at least one shift in 6 months to avoid termination.
