Here at Aviva, we are currently seeking a Loss Adjuster for a home-based position, visiting our customers in the South-East area. Post codes for the area include: BN, TN, CT, ME, RH, DA. To be considered, you must have a full UK driving license and reside in this region, as visiting customers will be an integral part of your role!
Your role will also involve reasonable travel across the UK and flexible working hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
A bit about the job:
You will be responsible for providing a customer-focused and cost-effective service by handling property claims from instruction to completion, ensuring all claims are managed within the specified financial authority limits. Your role will be based from home and will involve reasonable travel across the UK to meet customer needs. You will embrace flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, to provide the best service possible. A company car will be provided for your travel.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
As part of Aviva's Major Complex Claims team, we are excited to welcome an experienced insurance professional with a passion for handling high-value and complex property claims.
* High-Value Claims Experience: Ideally, you have experience with claims around £100,000, but we are happy to consider those with experience over £50,000.
* Professional Growth: A minimum qualification of Cert CII or CILA is required. If you're aiming for Dip CII, that's fantastic! But it's not a must.
* Technical Know-How: Your deep understanding of insurance principles, subrogation, underwriting practices, and ABI report writing will be highly valued.
* Building Practices Insight: Knowledge of building practices and regulations for property reinstatements and tendering processes is a big plus.
* Customer Focus: You have a proven track record of managing claims from cradle to grave, always prioritizing customer satisfaction.
