GRADE 6 SCP 6-9 (Actual Salary £22,569 - £23,668: FTE £25,989 - £27,254) PAY AWARD PENDING

The pro rata salary shown is based on the number of hours and weeks worked and includes appropriate paid annual leave and bank holiday entitlements.

The salary quoted is the annual salary for the position at the time of advert. The salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment and again if leaving part way through the school year to ensure the correct salary is received for the work completed in an academic year.

Start Date: 1st September 2026

Role Description

The Blandford School are seeking a highly motivated Guidance and Welfare Administrator to join our dynamic team. Working alongside the Head of Year the successful applicant will support the pastoral care of Year 7 as they join the school, while also ensure appropriate records are kept and effective communication with families.

Qualifications & Skills

• Good interpersonal skills, well organised, able to prioritise and has a working knowledge of a range of IT system (specific training for systems will be given as part of induction)
• Patience, tact and diplomacy and the ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
