The team is now looking for a new Sales Development Representative to join their Exeter office — the role has become available thanks to an internal promotion, highlighting the career growth and progression opportunities on offer.
The Role
As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact in the sales process, prospecting new business, engaging with potential clients, and booking high-quality meetings for the Account Executive team. Using outbound calls, emails, video, and social media, you’ll connect with decision-makers, build relationships, and play a vital role in supporting the company’s commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
* Make outbound calls and send targeted emails to engage prospects and secure appointments.
* Leverage LinkedIn and social media platforms to identify and nurture potential leads.
* Qualify and score leads, ensuring Account Executives receive strong opportunities.
* Track prospecting activity and data accurately within the CRM.
* Provide feedback to sales and marketing on lead quality, messaging, and market trends.
* Trial new sales enablement tools and approaches to improve outreach success.
What Success Looks Like
* Hitting and exceeding targets for appointments booked.
* Building a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities.
* Contributing to revenue growth through high-quality lead generation.
* Ensuring timely, effective engagement with inbound and outbound leads.
About You
We’re looking for a motivated, proactive communicator who thrives in a sales environment. You’ll ideally bring:
* Experience in outbound prospecting (SDR, BDR, inside sales, or telesales).
* Confidence speaking to senior decision-makers via phone, email, video, and social.
* A track record of generating new business opportunities.
* Strong storytelling and influencing skills.
* Energy, resilience, and a proactive mindset.
