C Hanlon Facilities Management is a growing Facilities Management company delivering planned and reactive maintenance services across commercial properties throughout the North East.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Multi-Trade Operative with a recognised trade background to join our team covering the Newcastle area.
This role is ideally suited to someone who has previously worked as a Joiner, Plumber, Plasterer or similar trade and is now working within a maintenance or FM environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* General building and property maintenance
* Joinery works (doors, frames, locks, ironmongery etc.)
* Minor plumbing repairs (taps, toilets, pipework etc.)
* Patch plastering and making good
* Basic tiling and flooring repairs
* Painting and decorating
* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Reactive maintenance tasks across commercial sites
* Working independently or alongside other trades
* Ensuring all work complies with Health & Safety standards
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a recognised trade (e.g. Joinery / Plumbing / Plastering etc.)
* Experience working within a Multi-Trade or Maintenance role
* Background within Facilities Management or Property Maintenance preferred
* Ability to carry out a range of maintenance tasks to a high standard
* Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently
* Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
