Overview
Senior Care Assistant - Care Home - Bank at Barchester Healthcare. Bank role to provide cover as and when needed (e.g., for annual leave or sick leave); hours and days vary.
Responsibilities
* Look after the varied needs of residents to deliver quality, person-centred care and support.
* Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
* Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
* Respect the dignity and preferences of residents and contribute to a warm, welcoming and vibrant environment.
About You / Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
* Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
* Warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support.
