Job Purpose To have day-to-day conduct of commercial ULR files for both non-litigated and litigated small claims Key Duties & Responsibilities To assist in the progress in an appropriate and timely manner, making use of the firms Case Management Systems and using the agreed internal procedures and practices. To assess losses at all times to ensure that all the clients and source receive appropriate, professional and timely manner. Ensure pertinent legal advice is provided and client are kept fully informed on the progress of the claim in support of the file handlers. To achieve and exceed all targets. To deal with post, telephone calls and emails expeditiously and to ensure that not worked on lists and to do lists are kept up to date. To ensure that all referred cases are opened and progressed. To keep brokers and / or commercial clients informed. To provide on-going support to the file handlers. Experience & Knowledge Experience of Insurance. Experience of Litigation. An ability to work in an organised manner. Excellent client care and communication skills. Experience of working with a case management system. An ability to work using own initiative within boundaries. An ability to work effectively with people across a wide range of levels and responsibilities.
