Join a dynamic and forward-thinking accountancy practice at our brand new office in Llantwit Major. We're looking for a motivated Accounts Assistant to support our growing team and contribute to the excellent service we provide to a wide-ranging client base.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the preparation of year-end accounts
* Bookkeeping and VAT returns for a varied client portfolio
* Purchase and sales ledger processing
* Bank reconciliations and journal postings
* Client communication and administrative support
Who We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in an accountancy practice is highly desirable
* Familiarity with accounting software (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, etc.)
* A proactive, detail-focused mindset and willingness to learn
* AAT qualification preferred - salary rises to £28,000 for Level 4
* Strong communication and organisational skills
