The post will be within the Development Management Team where you will be responsible for a varied caseload of planning applications across the city, contributing to the implementation of the development plan with high-quality decision making. The posts will promote the sustainable economic development and the protection of the environment through the delivery of the Council's Planning System. The Individual You will have a good working knowledge of Scottish planning legislation and practice with a strong customer focus. You will have good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to write clear, concise and reasoned reports, along with good IT skills and experience of appropriate software including MS Office. Experience of development planning and/or delivering regeneration priorities in Scotland would be of benefit. You will be able to work with minimum supervision and under pressure, with experience of successfully working as a member of a team. You will have the commitment to maintain continuous personal development through training and development.
