About the School: The school is a dynamic and supportive mainstream school, educating pupils of various backgrounds and abilities from ages 11-18. Role Overview: The successful applicant will be responsible for the planning and delivering of a vast and engaging Art curriculum that meets the diverse needs of pupils across key stages 3-5. You will be actively encouraging all pupils to express themselves freely through their art work. You will also be responsible for tracking pupil progress and providing insightful feedback that encourages pupils to be the best they can be. Key Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Experience of teaching Art in a UK education setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of the UK national curriculum for Art and Design is important. Ability to differentiate lessons to cater to the individual needs of pupils. Strong communication and organisational skills. Candidates must hold a valid DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one.
