Creative Primary Teaching Assistant
Location: England, Greater London, Hackney
Job Type: Contract, full-time hours
Salary: £85 - £100 per day
Protocol Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a lovely school in Hackney who are looking for classroom assistants to join them in September 2024.
These roles will be for the duration of the academic year and for the strongest candidates can lead to full-time employment with the school.
You will be working closely with children with ASD on a daily basis. Prior experience in this area would be highly beneficial.

Job Duties:
1. Supporting the primary teacher in delivering creative and engaging lessons
2. Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
3. Working with individual students or small groups to provide additional support and guidance
4. Helping to prepare teaching materials and resources
5. Participating in school events and activities
Required Qualifications:
6. GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
7. Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent
8. Enhanced DBS check
9. Creative Degree preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
10. Good understanding of the primary school curriculum
11. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
12. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
13. Creativity and enthusiasm for working with children
Working Conditions:
14. Contract position with full-time hours
15. Work within a primary school setting in Hackney, Greater London

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
