The Role:
As an Electrical Estimator, you will take ownership of preparing accurate, competitive bids for multi-million-pound electrical projects. You will work closely with the commercial and project teams, manage supplier/subcontractor relationships, and ensure bids are delivered on time and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:

Preparing detailed cost estimates for electrical projects across commercial and industrial multi-million-pound developments.

Performing take-offs from drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.

Supporting the commercial team in tender submissions and bid presentations.

Ensuring all estimates are accurate, compliant, and delivered within deadlines.

Mentoring junior estimators and supporting career development within the team.
Requirements:

Strong electrical background with significant estimating experience in M&E building services.

Proven experience in commercial and industrial multi-million-pound projects.

Excellent knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.

Strong numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.

Experience managing bids and working with multi-disciplinary teams.
