Salary: £85,000 - 85,000 per year Requirements: Strong capability in high-level system design and decomposition into subsystems, including the analysis and recording of design decisions Expertise in designing and integrating complex systems Deep understanding of IP networking, routing, switching, and protocols used in constrained or deployed environments Skilled in applying COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) technologies to military or mission-critical contexts Ability to own the diagnosis and resolution of technical issues within a project team Experience with SATCOMS, Radars/Aerials is highly desirable Previous roles as Systems Engineers, Solution Architects, or Project Managers are advantageous Extensive MOD experience Defence background is preferred Experience working on the Falcon Project is desirable but not essential Exposure to NATO projects is desirable but not essential Responsibilities: Lead development activities alongside a team of engineers, guiding them from high-level design through to sub-system integration Provide specialist expert direction on adapting and applying commercial technologies to the unique challenges of military deployed networks Ensure robust, secure, and mission-ready solutions Work closely with our Technical Authorities to maintain industry-leading products that comply with customer requirements and standards Bring fresh perspectives to improve workflow and inspire the next generation of technical experts from our Talent Pool Support the development of technical proposals for new projects Technologies: Support Network Architect More: We are a multi-national Aerospace & Defence organization looking for multiple Network Solution Architects to join our team at one of our Digital Intelligence sites in Christchurch, Filton, or Portsmouth with hybrid working options.
