An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client based in Plymouth as a Warehouse Operative on a temporary to permanent basis within a food production environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting warehouse operations, including operating a Reach Forklift Truck, handling stock, and using warehouse systems to ensure goods are processed accurately and efficiently.
Key duties include:
* Operating a Reach Forklift Truck safely and in line with company procedures
* Loading and unloading goods from vehicles and warehouse racking
* Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
* Using handheld scan guns to record stock movements
* Inputting and updating information on warehouse computer systems
* Carrying out stock checks and inventory control
* Adhering to all food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Requirements:
* Valid Reach Forklift Licence is essential
* Previous warehouse experience is required
* IT literate, with confidence using computers and handheld scanning devices
* Good attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work night shifts and meet deadlines
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
Pay rate:
* £14.52 to £15.18 per hour
Shift Schedule:
* Thursday, Friday and Saturday
* Night shift - 18:00 to 06:00
