Overview
We are seeking a Materials Management Assistant to join our professional and customer focused Logistics and Supply Chain team. The role supports the Emergency Department and other areas such as Theatres and wards. This 37.5 hour per week position primarily works daytime shifts (08:00-16:00 Monday to Friday) with occasional coverage of other shifts as required.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the daily Materials Management service within dedicated areas, ensuring timely and effective top‑up stock and non‑stock systems.
* Maintain systems data accuracy using Microsoft Excel, auditing, and standardisation.
* Check receipt deliveries and put away goods.
* Provide help‑desk support and customer service for the supply chain and logistics service.
* Support the implementation of the new Scan for Safety (S4S) dynamic inventory management system.
Qualifications
Experience in inventory replenishment, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
