What We’re Looking For Registered professional NMC, HCPC, or equivalent with relevant clinical experience and the ability to prescribe to those accessing services Strong understanding of substance misuse treatment, harm reduction, and recovery models. Proven skills and experience in clinical governance. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. Ability to manage risk and lead service development initiatives. Advert To provide clinical, prescribing and therapeutic services to alcohol and drug users with a particular responsibility for alcohol and drug detoxification and treatment. To carryout extensive NMP clinics. In conjunction with the clinical lead, promote and develop Community Detoxification across STaRS Carryout SI investigations and write incident and SI reports. With the Clinical lead and HWB nurses – support and develop Nurse Prescribing across STaRS. Provide expert support to new NMP’s and all nursing staff. Carryout extensive Independent NMP clinics across designated STaRS site as stated above. Provision of healthcare treatments and screening to Service user’s in line with the public health agenda Support and Train staff in substance misuse and healthcare procedures relevant to our Service User’s.
