Join Jacobs’ Graduate Development Programme (GDP) and have a meaningful, positive impact on environments, communities and societies. What you’ll do
* Work with the Sustainability and Environmental Services team (Water and Environment) on sustainability issues including renewable energy, low carbon economies, climate change impacts, waste and resources management, sustainability and environmental risk management.
* Provide strategic consulting advice, benchmarking to enhance performance and development, and support the implementation of systems to promote better sustainability outcomes across organisations and projects.
* Contribute to environmental management activities, including environmental management and information systems, carbon and energy management, adapting to climate risk, and support for low carbon and circular economy initiatives.
* Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver meaningful projects and outcomes for complex challenges.
Start date
The start date for this position is September 2026.
What you’ll need
* Be working towards a relevant Degree or Master’s level qualification in Environmental Science, Geography, Economics or Sustainability.
* A flexible self-starter who is keen to drive your career forward
* Adaptable to change, with a thirst for learning new things
* You must have the permanent right to work in the UK
