About the Role
The Youth Services division is currently seeking a Youth Worker for outreach, sites and schools. You will have experience working with young people, ideally working with the Department for Education and/or Flexible Learning Options (FLO)/ Tailored Learning (TL) students.
We have a role that will be servicing schools in the Northern Region and Western Region and our Salisbury Site and will be offered on a full time basis until 25/01/2026.
Travel will be required between the sites, schools and within community. Excellent organisational skills, building and maintaining good relationships are paramount.
About You
To be successful in the role you will be able to:
1. Demonstrate extensive experience in youth case management;
2. Demonstrate your ability to identify mental health issues;
3. Demonstrate excellent administrative skills, and
4. Demonstrate experience working in the youth services sector.
You will also be required to:
5. Hold a current driver’s licence and own vehicle;
6. Have one of the following qualifications; Minimum Cert IV in Youth Work, Juvenile Justice, Child Youth and Family Intervention, Bachelor of Social Work or Psychology;
7. Have completed RAN (Responding to Abuse and Neglect) training; and
8. Hold a current Working with Children Check.
