Dental Practice Manager – York, North Yorkshire – Full Time
MBR Dental are currently assisting an independent dental practice in York, North Yorkshire to recruit a Dental Practice Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Job Details
1. Available to start as soon as possible
2. Notice periods will be considered
3. Full-time position – 40 hours per week
4. Monday to Friday, working hours to be discussed
5. One Saturday per month (8:45am – 2:15pm)
6. £18 per hour, depending on experience
7. Busy independent private practice environment
About the Role
The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of dental practice management experience and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice while supporting its continued growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
8. Day-to-day operational management of the dental practice
9. Ensuring systems, processes, and the team operate efficiently and in line with practice procedures
10. Managing staff development and supporting HR duties
11. Monitoring practice compliance and maintaining regulatory standards
12. Managing KPIs and supporting private revenue growth
13. Overseeing marketing initiatives and patient feedback processes
14. Stock control and general practice administration
Please note: practice accounts and bookkeeping are handled separately and are not part of this role.
Candidate Requirements
15. Minimum 1 year of dental practice management experience
16. Strong leadership and organisational skills
17. Patient-focused with a proactive and self-motivated approach
18. Valid DBS certificate

19. 4-surgery, computerised practice (Dentally software)
20. Treatments include general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, implants, clear aligners, oral surgery, and facial aesthetics
21. On-site parking available
