Rutherford Cross is working with a high-growth private-equity backed organisation to recruit a Group Financial Analyst, offering a fantastic opportunity to gain broad exposure across group finance and contribute to meaningful improvements in reporting and analysis. Reporting to the Group Reporting Manager, the postholder will be part of a collaborative team that values fresh perspectives, continuous improvement and a hands-on approach. This role offers exposure to both management and statutory reporting, giving the individual a strong foundation for future progression. Key Responsibilities: Statutory Reporting Prepare consolidated annual financial statements under IFRS Draft subsidiary and holding company accounts under FRS 101 Support external audit processes and statutory adjustments Assist with technical accounting areas including IFRS 16, IFRS 9 and policy updates Management Reporting Produce monthly consolidated management accounts including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and segmental analysis Review divisional financial packs and prepare board-level reporting Manage ledgers and intercompany eliminations for group-level entities Process & Systems Improvement Contribute to the development of reporting processes and controls Support system enhancements and implementation of new entities or transactions Collaborate with divisional teams to resolve reporting queries Ad Hoc & Strategic Support Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes Provide technical accounting assessments and support corporate projects Review tax computations prepared by external advisers Qualifications & Experience Recently qualified (CIMA, ACCA, CA, ICAS or equivalent) Skills Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Experience with general ledger and consolidation systems (Dynamics 365 a plus) Understanding of IFRS and FRS 101 Solid grasp of management accounting principles Personal Attributes Proactive and detail-oriented with a drive to make an impact A natural problem-solver who enjoys improving processes Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs Package £48,000 to £58,000 2 days a week in the city centre 5% matched pension Life Assurance Enhanced Maternity/Paternity 33 days holiday - rising to 38 after 5 years The postholder will be joining a company that values diversity, innovation and continuous learning.
