The firm manages funds for institution, high-net-worth and retail investors across various strategies including: private/opportunistic debt, liquid loans, high yield, special situations, structured credit, long-short liquid credit and commercial real estate debt.Analysing complex requests received in Japanese from Japanese investors, to ensure a clear understanding of what is requiredGathering and assessing company and product information from across company in order to create accurate, thoughtful and timely responses to these queries, both in written and in verbal responsesFor complex product queries, working with the dedicated strategy-level product specialists within company, explaining in English the investors’ request and co-creating an appropriate answerWorking with the wider company Business Development and Investment teams to follow-up collaboratively on any requests from Japanese investors that have gone to them directly, ensuring deadlines are always met and that the information provided is accurate and well presentedJapanese speaking Client Service - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:Mother tongue standard Japanese (both verbal & written) with strong communication skillsPrevious asset management experience, including solid experience in a similar role (Japanese Client Service, Investor Relations or Product Specialist)Bachelor's degree required, MBA and/or CFA or CAIA preferredA good understanding of credit/different fund vehicle structures (open/closed ended etc) and an ability and eagerness to develop deep knowledge with respect to company sub-investment grade credit strategies and wider businessKnowledge of the UK/Japanese regulatory environments, as regards sales & marketingPlease follow us on Linkedin: We would be grateful if you could send your CV as a Word document.
