Expro are currently recruiting for a Well Services Supervisor - Offshore to join the Well Services team based in Aberdeen.
Overall Purpose of the Job
The successful candidate will lead the safe, efficient and effective execution of well service operations within on and offshore environments. There will be a requirement to ensure compliance with Expro and client safety, quality and technical standards and execute the delivery of the planned operational programme within timescale and budget. There will be a responsibility to direct day to day operations activity and continually monitor progress against targets and highlight any issues of concern.
Key Activities and Accountabilities
• Take ownership of the work site and the operations being undertaken to ensure the safe completion of the task with prevention of technical issues.
• Manage the supervision of all well intervention and service operations on location by establishing oneself as the focal point by being the visible and credible leader to the team and the rest of the location.
• Manage all related risks on worksite to ensure all risks are ALARP before commencing any operation. Periodically review risk on the work site, perform inspection of the entire well services related work site only delegate by exception.
• Manage any changes to the work programme and ensure correct client and company procedures are followed.
• Ensure checks are carried out on all equipment for their compliance and are technically correct for the operation being carried out.
• Carry out and ensure participation from team in planning meetings when required.
• Work at onshore office to undertake required planning, organising, attend meeting and report preparation.
• Ensure that well site support requirements are planned and executed by liaising with the relevant on and offshore departments to facilitate continuous operations thereby ensuring there are no delays in operations.
• Liaise with clients representatives and participate in meetings and discussions as required in a professional manner ensuring continuous quality of service to client.
• Ensure completion of required documentation for clients and company procedures and processes are accurately prepared in a timely manner.
• Be the focal point with the client and liaise with the team members and operations department as and when required to ensure all aspects of the operations are discussed as required with the relevant parties to ensure effective communication to allow continued safe operations and task completion.
• Actively mentor subordinates to share knowledge to assist with their competency progression when required.
• Work with colleagues and Supervisor to complete required competencies for current and next role.
