We are seeking a passionate and committed Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Lincoln City CMHT team within our Adult Community division. The role involves delivering high-quality, compassionate care and supporting service development.
Position Details
* Part-time at 8 PAs per week, with flexible working options including job share and hybrid working.
* Requires travel across the county for home visits and appointments, with a car being essential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assessment of new referrals.
2. Medical review of patients in multidisciplinary meetings.
3. Home visits when necessary.
4. Participation in case review meetings, team meetings, and leadership meetings.
5. Providing advice to GPs, liaison teams, and hospitals; occasional hospital attendance may be required.
6. Preparing reports and attending mental health tribunals for patients on Community Treatment Orders (currently none on caseload).
7. Ensuring compliance with safeguarding legislation.
8. Reviewing and preparing reports under the Mental Health Act 1983.
9. Supporting research projects and supervising non-medical prescribers.
10. Providing clinical advice and managing emergencies, including assessments under the Mental Health Act and Section 136.
11. Participating in on-call rota and providing cover to colleagues as needed.
