Here at GXO, we are currently on the search for a Warehouse Shift Manager to join our team in Wynyard. You’ll be responsible for the efficient running of the warehouse operations, placing the highest regard on colleague wellbeing, health, and safety whilst meeting the operational KPI’s.
This is a full-time, permanent position working on a 4 on 4 rotating shift pattern between both days and nights, covering the hours of 6:00 - 18:00/ 18:00 - 6:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £38,250.00 per annum and 23 days holiday (including bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
1. Identify cost-saving initiatives and implement corrective actions where appropriate to maximise the efficiency of the warehouse operation.
2. Demonstrate and promote a customer-focused approach to all warehouse activity.
3. Responsible for monitoring and reporting on target expectations and achievements through standard reporting processes.
4. Create and maintain a positive team culture by actively encouraging involvement from all to improve Employee Engagement.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
1. Experience leading a team of warehouse colleagues within a large, fast-paced warehouse environment.
2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
3. Strong IT skills, including warehouse systems and Microsoft Office.
4. Previous experience focusing on continuous improvement.
