Job Purpose: To provide technical support for all critical infrastructure during planned and reactive tasks, ensuring high availability across the site.

What you will do:
* Conduct and record preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis of critical plant and equipment, supporting and documenting corrective actions for Mechanical and Electrical systems.
* Support and facilitate specialist subcontractors/vendors during planned, reactive, or project tasks, ensuring adherence to site procedures and safety documentation.
* Monitor, maintain, investigate, and acknowledge the BMS and SCADA systems.
* Undertake daily site checks to identify and proactively repair defects, maintaining plant rooms in a clean, tidy, and safe condition.
* Rectify and record defects through the helpdesk to ensure SLA timeframes are met.
* Provide rapid and effective responses to customer and helpdesk requirements.
* Ensure compliance and escalate issues affecting site availability, health and safety, and security.
* Adhere to all current company and Critical Engineering Management policies.
* Provide innovative solutions and recommendations to improve processes, buildings, plants, and systems.
Person Specification
What you will need:
* Strong Mechanical and/or Electrical knowledge and experience.
* Eligibility to obtain high-level security clearance (British passport holder + 10 years in the UK).
* Good knowledge of Generators, Cooling systems, and UPS systems.
* Valid UK driving license.
* Ability to organise and manage own workload.
* Aware of site criticality and work risks.
* Good administrative skills with Microsoft packages.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
