Year 4 SEN Teaching Assistant
We are looking for a full-time Year 4 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in East London from September 2025. This role runs Monday to Friday during the full school day and is a chance to make a genuine difference in children’s lives.

Your Role
1. Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
2. Provide targeted one-to-one or small group support for pupils with SEN.
3. Help create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
4. Assist with lesson preparation, organisation, and classroom management.
5. Build strong working relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
What We’re Looking For
6. Experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
7. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
8. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s progress.
9. Ability to work independently when needed.
10. Relevant education or childcare qualifications (desirable).
Safeguarding Commitment
All applicants must hold an enhanced DBS (or be willing to obtain one), be registered with the DBS Update Service, provide references covering the last two years, and pass all safeguarding checks before starting.
