Overview
WeDoData are working with an independent school in Somerset, seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their finance team. This permanent, part-time role is 4 days per week and on-site in Somerset.
The role
You will be responsible for the end-to-end process of four different payrolls across two sites, for around 360 staff members, including monthly, annual, and ad-hoc tasks. Some responsibilities include:
* Production and distribution of payslips
* Setup of new staff for first payments
* Monthly pension returns
* Payroll amendments
* Payroll year-end
* P45 production
* P60 production
* Point of contact for pay queries
* Maintain records for maternity, paternity, and sickness pay
* Annual returns
Requirements
You will need previous experience managing payroll for a large organisation, with strong experience using a payroll system. The school uses PASSFINANCE (school-specific software); experience with this system is preferred, but experience with other systems such as Sage is acceptable.
In return
This role is permanent, part-time (4 days per week). In return, a full-time equivalent salary of £28,000–£32,000 (£22,400–£25,600 actual) is being offered. This is an on-site role, and due to the school’s location, a car would be needed; parking for staff is provided.
