We're looking for a passionate and motivated individual to take on the role of deputy manager.
About the Role
As a deputy with Farplace Animal Rescue you'll play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our charity shop. You'll assist in running the shop smoothly, provide cover when needed and help us maximize the impact of our charity's mission.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the Shop Manager and with daily operations and running the store in their absence.
* Completing end of day cashing up and weekly cash reconciliation.
* Assisting with the training and supervision of volunteers.
* Delivering excellent customer service to shop visitors.
* Helping with stock processing, sorting donations, and merchandising.
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming shop environment.
* Acting as a keyholder and ensuring shop security as required.
What We're Looking For
* Previous retail or charity shop experience
* A team player with strong communication and leadership skills.
* Enthusiastic, flexible, and committed to supporting the shop's success. Willing to work some weekends.
* Ability to motivate and inspire a diverse group of volunteers.
* A keen eye for detail and an interest in retail presentation.
* Understanding of the values and goals of a charity organisation.

Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 22.5 per week
